Can I Take This Training If I'm Not Interested in Teaching?
Absolutely! Whether you decide to teach or not, you will deepen your practice, meet amazing people and walk away with experiences that benefit your life. At the completion of your 200 hour training you will be eligible to register as a Yoga Alliance Registered 200-hour Yoga teacher or if you decide to do the 100 hour immersion to deepen your practice, you could then pick up the additional 100 hours the next time training is offered should you decide you like to further your studies.
Are There Prerequisites For the Training?
Although we recommend 1 year of consistent yoga practice, the most important requirements are your dedication to self-inquiry and doing the work, willingness to show up and learn, and curiosity.
What Style of Yoga will I learn?
You will learn about many styles of yoga ranging from Vinyasa Flow to Iyengar alignment, to a nourishing Restorative. With our integrated approach to smart alignment, intelligent sequencing and clear instruction, you will be equipped to teach to a wide range of abilities, safely and skillfully.
What would a typical immersion day look like?
We will open with a physical practice, lecture, breaks, asana clinics, practice teaching, pranayama, meditation, and journaling.
Where is the Training Located?
All In person training will be held at Dirty Feet Yoga, 7813 Hwy 60 Cedarburg and virtual training can be done at home.
What is the Absence Policy?
To ensure equitable completion for all students, trainees must attend sessions totaling their 100 or 200 hours to qualify for receiving their 100 Hour or 200 Hour Certificate. Absence is discouraged and must be approved on a case by case basis with the Lead Trainer before hand. Makeup sessions are charged at an additional rate of $100 per hour.
